Moi is a portative story, a story of luggage that come, pass and go away. With a touch of burlesque and poetry, the trio questions the function of territory, playing on the relationship between the container and the content. Moi is a wink to the people you cross in the streets and to Marcel Duchamp and his “museum luggage”. Three “Moi” travel, meet and respond to each other, with care from M. Teste, stunning character from Valéry who states “The unknown I bear is what makes me myself”. Moi is playing with the question of the choreographic object by twisting it. This visual proposition plays with the role of the artist. It is also a way to move on. In that dance, the dancers bend for their audience and display the luggage as the real stars. Watch out for abandoned packages…
